His journalistic, purist, and contemporary approaches converge to create powerful visuals. Jose's extensive career, spanning almost three decades, has afforded him the opportunity to collaborate with industry leaders, honing his craft and working with a diverse range of clients.

A autodidact in poetry, Jose holds degrees in creative writing and commercial photography from New York University and a Master's in Corporate Communication from Baruch College. His proficiency extends beyond still photography, as he is also a skilled digital video editor with experience in both linear and nonlinear workflows.

Jose's current project is a heartfelt tribute to first responders, highlighting their artistic talents. Through unique processes involving gelatin, liquid emulsion, collodio chloride, and polyurethane, he creates stunning analog prints on mirrored glass. This innovative approach aims to showcase the personal side of these public servants, allowing them to express themselves creatively and be their true selves in front of the camera.
